2-1.2 Your information shared by other users will also share information about you provided by other users when using the Services.

 

2-1.3 Information we obtain about you. When you use the Services, we collect, aggregate, and record information, such as log information, location information, and device information.

 

2-2 We collect and use your information for the following purposes:

2-2.1 Help you complete registration and login

In order for us to provide you with services, you need to provide basic registration or login information, such as mobile phone number (personal sensitive information), code matching results (personal sensitive information), date of birth and profile picture, etc., to create an account (username and password).

 

You can also log in to PopShort with an account on a third-party platform we support, in which case we will obtain your relevant information (such as your nickname, profile picture, etc.) under the third-party account according to your authorization.

 

Therefore, the above-mentioned personal data provided by you or obtained from your third-party platform account with your authorization will be used for these purposes in order to provide you with and perform services in accordance with your agreement with us. Without this personal data, we will not be able to provide you with our services and you will not be able to log in or use PopShort.

 

You can also fill in your additional information (such as your location, height, occupation, weight, education, annual income, personal profile, personal tag, hobbies) when you register, log in or use it in the future, so as to help us provide you with customized recommendations and a better service experience. However, if you do not provide this information, it will not affect your use of the basic functions of our products and services.

 

2-2.2 Implement manual verification

In order to verify your real identity and ensure the security of the system, services and user property, you need to provide your real identity authentication information in accordance with applicable laws, regulations and regulatory requirements.

 

Please note that your profile photo and Live Photo are your sensitive data and should be provided with caution. If you do not agree to provide such information, you may not be able to obtain the relevant services, but it will not affect your normal use of other functions and services of PopShort.

 

2-2.3 To provide you with search services

When you use the search feature in PopShort, we need to collect your search terms, browsing history, browsing time, and the number of times you interact with it. We collect this information in order to provide you with the content you need and services that may be of more interest to you.

 

2-2.4 Provide you with interactive and information publishing services

When you use PopShort to upload, post, share certain information (including text, comments, audio, video, pictures or other content) or follow, we will collect and display the information you post or form in PopShort, and have the right to display your nickname and profile picture.

 

(i) When you upload your profile picture, conduct authentic verification, publish your audio profile, or post your moment/status (including uploading and sharing pictures, text, audio, video, etc.), we will apply for your permission to access your microphone, camera, photo, storage permission, and collect the voice/audio, video, photos, pictures, text and other content you provide through such microphone and camera. If you do not agree to give us permission, you may not be able to obtain the relevant services, but it will not affect your normal use of other functions and services of PopShort. Please note that the audio, photos, and videos you upload may contain sensitive data about you, so please be cautious about providing them. In addition, if you post information that involves the personal information of others, you should obtain the consent of others before posting.

(ii) When you follow certain user accounts that you are interested in, or communicate and interact with such user accounts (such as liking, commenting, sharing content, etc.), we will collect the user accounts you follow and show you the content posted by the accounts. At the same time, we will also collect your interactions, comments, likes, and shared content with other user accounts, and display or push notifications to relevant users in PopShort.

(iii) When you send a virtual gift purchased by PopShort to another user, we will collect your profile picture/profile picture, nickname, gift data and display this information to other users.

(iv) When you use the "Family" feature in PopShort, we collect information about your activities, including information about the family/group you join, such as the family/group's name, announcements, settings, members and their nicknames, profile photos, etc.

(v) In order to recommend nearby users or deliver personalized content, we may ask you for permission to access your location information (sensitive personal information). If you agree to give us such permission, we will collect your location information and display it to other users. You can turn off location at any time. When you do so, we will no longer collect your location information or display it to other users.

 

2-2.5 Provide you with audio chat, voice chat, and video chat services

When you use services such as audio chat, voice chat, video chat, etc., we will request your permission to access your microphone and camera. If you do not agree to such a license to us, you will not be able to use the Services, but your normal use of other features in PopShort will not be affected.

 

2-2.6 To provide you with recharge and inquiry services

When you top up (get coins at PopShort), we will collect information about your order and payment account. If you view the remaining value of your Virtual Property in your User Account, we will collect it and display it to you on the relevant page. Please note that your top-up, order, account, virtual property and other information are your sensitive information, please provide and use them with caution.

 

2-2.7 Provide you with calendar-based recording and reminder services.

Only after you have given us access to your calendar will we list your schedule in your calendar and provide you with a recording and reminder service.

 

2-2.8 Maintain account security, business operations, and optimize business experience

When you use the Services, we may automatically collect, store, and process information about your use of the Services and how you use them, including:

 

(i) Log Information: When you use the Service, we may automatically collect details of your use of our Service and save it as relevant web logs. The log information we collect includes your login account, search content, IP address, browser type, telecommunications operator, network environment, language used, date and time of access, as well as the total page browsing records, push open records, stay time, refresh records, posting records, follow and subscribe records, favorites and sharing records.

(ii) Device information: According to the specific permissions you grant when installing and using PopShort, we will receive and record the device information you use (including IMEI, MAC, serial port, SIM card IMSI identification code, device type, operating system and its version, APP version, resolution, software package name, device settings, process and software list, unique device ID, software and hardware function information) and device location information (including IP address, GPS location and other related information, such as WLAN access points, Bluetooth sensor information, base station sensors).

 

In order to collect the above basic personal device information, we will request permission to access your device information. We collect this information in order to provide you with our essential services and features. If you refuse to provide such permission, you may not be able to use the Service.

 

Please note that device information and/or log information alone cannot identify a specific natural person, so device information and log information itself is non-personal information. However, if that non-personal information is combined with other information to identify a specific natural person, or in combination with other personal information, it will be treated as personal information in the process of that combination.
